Video Editor

RC CAD is seeking a talented and creative Video Editor with a passion for storytelling and a strong understanding of YouTube and Instagram Reels content. The ideal candidate possesses expert-level skills in DaVinci Resolve and a knack for crafting engaging videos that resonate with our audience. You'll work closely with the company founder to develop and execute video concepts, to make sure every video feels true to who we are and what we're about.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit and produce videos: Edit raw footage to create compelling, high-quality videos optimized for YouTube and Instagram Reels. This includes color correction, audio mixing, and occasionally adding special effects.

  • Develop a unique editing style: Infuse your distinct voice and creativity into each edit, while maintaining consistency with our brand.

  • Tell a story through video: Transform loose scripts or outlines into captivating stories that keep viewers engaged.

  • Master timing and pacing: Demonstrate a keen sense of timing to create videos that flow seamlessly and maintain consistent energy.

  • Stay up-to-date: Keep up with latest video editing techniques, trends, and best practices for YouTube and Instagram Reels.

Requirements:

  • Fluent or Advanced English: Must be able to speak and write in english clearly.

  • Proficient to Expert abilities in DaVinci Resolve: Proven experience editing and producing videos using DaVinci Resolve.

  • Strong storytelling abilities: A knack for crafting stories that capture attention and evoke emotion.

  • Excellent sense of timing and pacing: The ability to create videos that flow smoothly and maintain viewer engagement.

  • Collaborative spirit: A willingness to work closely with team members and incorporate feedback into your work.

  • Familiarity with YouTube and Instagram Reels: A deep understanding of the platforms and their content requirements.

  • Strong communication skills: The ability to articulate your creative vision and effectively collaborate with others.

  • Portfolio showcasing your work: Examples of your video editing skills, preferably including YouTube and Instagram Reels content.

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience with motion graphics and animation

  • Knowledge of social media marketing and analytics

  • Color grading

Job Description:

The Model Manufacturing Specialist will play a crucial role in the creation of our high end models. You will be responsible for meticulously assembling models using technical manuals, operating 3D printers and laser cutters, and ensuring the highest level of precision and quality in every project.

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble complex models with exacting detail, following provided technical manuals.

  • Operate 3D printers and laser cutters to create model components.

  • Perform quality control checks to ensure models meet rigorous standards.

  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

  • Meet project deadlines and client expectations.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in assembling intricate models or similar detailed work.

  • Proficiency in operating 3D printers and laser cutters.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence.

  • Ability to follow technical instructions and diagrams accurately.

  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Desirable Skills (Not Required):

  • RC electronics and wiring knowledge

  • CAD/CAM experience

  • Airbrush and spray gun painting

  • Compositing with carbon fiber and fiberglass
