Why Should I Reserve a Kit Today?
This free, no obligation, kit reservation is a way to hold a place in the production queue for a large scale RC L-1011 TriJet Airliner Kit. When it becomes available, you will have first option to purchasing a kit. Kits are manufactured to order and not held in stock. For this reason, holding a reservation ensures you can get the kit before it becomes available for sale on rccad2vr.com. Open kit sales will not begin until all reservation orders have been shipped.
Can I get just the plans or files?
For those of you hoping to get plans and/or source files, the L-1011 RC model Airliner will only be offered as a buildable kit, the plans and source files will not be made available for sale.
Why Are Reservations Requested?
Thanks to the interest in this model, it is important for me to gauge how many potential orders will need to be fulfilled. This includes planning for materials, manufacturing time, and equipment requirements. Knowing in advanced how many potential modelers, builders, and RC fans will want to build this kit will help ensure kits can be delivered and supported in a timely manner.
When will reserved kits start shipping?
Kits will begin shipping to the first reservation holders who confirm their purchase in 2024. Kits will ship within 2 - 10 business days depending on the kit options selected.
